Whenever I am in a building with an elevator (like a hospital) I love going to see the emergency exits and staying there for a while because of how quiet and lonely they are. No one ever uses them and they make great spaces for reading, thinking, and staring at the walls.

🪧The album by the Microphones. I was shown this album by a close friend as i was entering college and suffering from a sort of death-of-innocence. I was extremely depressed at the time and also extremely cringey philosophy class doom and gloom whatever. but this album inspired me to write music for the first time. and i feel like the textural exploration, melacholic but catchy melodies, and hyper-intimate lyricism all remain top priority for me today.
