Heat (1996)

Heat is one of the best movies you can see in a theater I presume. Scenic views of LA, insane gun battles and scenes between De Niro and Pacino. The sound is the key part of it, where the movie theater sound system makes the deafening final showdown on the tarmac of an airport make you feel like you are there yourself. I‘ve seen it twice at Coolidge Corner Theater in Brookline. I believe it shows every year there in the summer as part of a summer classics series.

I love a good heist movie… if you can call this that. And I love 70s Pacino (Godfather 1 and 2, … And Justice for All) If you like seeing this man freak out, walk don’t run watch this now

The leftovers (HBO 2014-2017)

Will this show about half the world’s population suddenly vanishing throw you into a depression hole? Probably (especially S1). But it’s also an all-time fav and idk why more people haven’t seen it. Watch The Leftovers and talk to me about it ! (It’s only 3 seasons)
