This has revolutionized my life. I now have a cafe in my home. I laugh in the face of local java merchants. A note: must be paired with a good grinder such as the Baratza Encore.

Getting coffee out every day is expensive and using a cheap shitty grinder at home gives a sub-par cup of joe. Recently threw down on one of these bad boys and now I can dial in my home grinds so that my morning cups are just as good as the pros. Also great because it’s a sustainable product supported with replacement parts and won’t just end up in a landfill when it stops working right!

😃
After years of using an electric grinder (baratza Encore) I’ve switched to a hand grinder due to space limitations. The hand grinder proves to be so much cleaner in addition to taking up much less space. And it’s not super taxing to actually grind the beans.

as yr morning fix~ this became the way I make coffee exclusively starting 5 years ago. I moved apartments and was too lazy to set up my drip machine. I found it to be quick, easy, potent, tasty enough, and affordable. in a way, it perfectly balances working-class sensibilities, and opulent desire.

I’ve been trying to just look around the room more in an effort to be on my phone less. Try it! It can be quite psychedelic and is akin to reading and/or prayer.

For years, I’ve been punctuating my sentences with this word. For example, earlier I said “where is my cocksucking phone?”

For as long as I can now remember, my integrity and my relationship to myself have steadily atrophied as a result of endless scrolling. I got a new phone recently and due to a clerical error, I was locked out of instagram. This allowed me to devote my old phone (which I now call my “bad phone”) exclusively to social media access. My pain levels have reduced 800%.
