I had an orange the other night at dinner and was absolutely losing my mind over how good it tasted. Perhaps I have scurvy or they really are just that good. I went to the grocery store and stocked up and can confirm they are at their peak rn!!!!

I recently had a grapefruit-salted pie and keep thinking about that tart, salty goodness. And trying every type of orange at the market. I can't get enough of them.

I definitely go through phases where all I want is one specific fruit, and right now it’s oranges. I’ve been peeling and eating an orange every day this week and it’s reminded me how much I love oranges lol. The smell while peeling it is great, obviously I love the way they taste, and they’re full of vitamin c. Can’t beat that🤷🏻‍♀️

I keep having this experience recently where I eat an orange and I am really struck by their amazing taste. I think previously I had avoided oranges because they can be hard to peel and I wasn't humble enough to eat a fruit that made me work for it. But it's honest work and greatly rewarded. It's acidy but not bitter like a lemon and has this intense natural sweetness that is far from sickly. It's refreshing and satisfying for your teeth like a drink you can chew, and it's fluid and stringy and pops all at the same time. And on top of that it's also good for the Winter, so you can top up on that sweet sweet vitamin D.

Everyone in New York always wants to meet for coffee or dinner but I just want to roll up to your place in my pajamas and sit on your couch while you update me on your life.
