Had no clue until recently that it existed (i was 12 when it came out, still watching Hannah Montana n shit) but I just finished the first season AND MANā¦.the writing is so good. One of the best southern gothic depictions of recent history. Matthew and Woody are some of the best depictions of cop partnerships youāll ever see on screen. AND MISS MATTHEW!!! With that closure wig!!! SHOULD. HAVE. WON. THAT. EMMY.

I think itās good in its own right and was unfairly judged against Season 1 but itās just different. Twisting neo-noir story of corruption and power with a stellar cast (as you can see in the below related recs Iāve BEEN saying thisāit was one of the very first things I posted!!!)

One of the best Mockumentary films ever, and definitely one of the funniest. AND THE CAST IS AMAZING!!
Young Kirsten Dunst, Young Amy Adams, Young Brittany Murphy (RIP) and the middle aged powerhouses Kirstie Alley (RIP) and Allison Janneyā¦.literally canāt get any better!!
Praise aside, thereās a moment in the movie with the drama geek contestant, recites a revised monologue (something about Soylent Green) that mentions ā2024ā and I think thatās so cute and awesome that on a random watch, little things like that could pop out at anytime.Ā
