i've been in Toronto for a month and this place my sanctuary fr. Beautifully designed, good lighting and has these cool glass elevators that make ascending really fun.
there is a big, back-lit oval opening in the ceiling that makes you feel like you’re ascending. the library itself is round! they got some cozy chairs and long tables to spread out at. the overhead lighting is cozy like a warm lamp. my gf took us here when we were both having a bad day. it feels similar to some of turell’s works. designed by frank lloyd wright (for the heads). might be my favorite wright space i’ve found myself inside of.
Everything was awesome. I liked looking at the titles of books on the spines and writing down the ones I liked cause they’re all locked up you can only imagine the contents
Cooking and eating with people is possibly the most lindy activity of them all. Everyone needs to eat and at least one person likes to cook. very spiritually fulfilling
