My grandparents had this game on their desktop Mac when I was a kid. I only ever played it at their house, in the back bedroom with the cushion on the chair so I could reach the keyboard. Look at the artistry! This marble is so well-traveled! The sky is so big!
a fucked up little NES game where you try (and usually fail) to roll a marble to the end of an obstacle course. clearly the prototype for monkey ball, marble blast, etc. one of many retro games my cousin introduced to me through wii hacking. the thing i remember most vividly about it is about how on the (famously brutal) penultimate level, âsilly race,â the screen flashes with the message âEVERYTHING YOU KNOW IS WRONG.â to this day i donât know what thatâs about. it made 6-year-old me feel like i was in they live
For some reason, we would only play this when visiting our grandparents, who only had one phone line so we could never use the computer when somebody was on or needed the phone. If you picked up the phone when we were on the Internet, the dreaded dial up tone blast in your ear. This game is really simple, but we were obsessed with it. I donât remember playing a lot of games on my own computer, but I was definitely a preteen that was lying in chatrooms. My younger cousins also introduced me to Happy tree friendsâŚ
