Arguably Brett Easton Ellis’ magnum opus. I love that he sued Zoolander for stealing his IP and won. It’s a story about a male fashion model who becomes a terrorist. As in other Easton Ellis books, there is a mantra: ā€œThe better you look the more you see.ā€ This is deeply true. Beautiful people are punished by being exposed to all the most horrifying things in the world. Epstein…need I say more?

LA getting you down? because its Too Boring? Escape into this provocative - bordering-smut novel that takes place in more exciting, drug fueled times. It’s called ’The Shards’ and I read it earlier this summer and could not put it down. Like most of Ellis’ writing, it’s got well dressed preppy hot people and cocaine and serial killers. After reading ’The Shards’, I’ve been very visually inspired by 1980s LA šŸŽ„šŸŽ„šŸŽ„
