I named this little guy Noche. He has no meow (instead, he says hi with a scratchy mew of sorts) and he loves the little tuna packets I go out of my way to buy at the store.
There is nothing sweeter than having a little guy accompany me around the bodega while I gather my items. It’s like having a familiar but only for buying juice and a chopped cheese
Who is she? She’s the angel of my neighborhood and a sign that the day will be delightful. I watch her from My bathroom window as I brush my teeth (when she decides to come around). I don’t know who she belongs to.
My roommates & I have been feeding & giving water to these two street cats in our neighborhood. They spend all their time in our backyard now. This one is very sweet & friendly. The other one’s more skittish. A third one comes by sometimes. He’s all white & kind of scary looking. I call him Il Diavolo Blanco. The one in the picture I call Kiko.
but my favorites include her episodes with Nick Offerman, Sandra Cisneros, and Devenda Banhart (the latter of which intro me to one of my FAVORITE books, When Things Fall Apart by Pema Chödrön).
