fake it till you make it? 2024 is the year to ask your cool friends what their jobs are, and borrow encyclopedias from libraries. we are getting educated!!! unless you need to lie on your CV in which case… i avert my eyes…
Be yourself ofc…but also there are some things you don’t need to reveal—ambiguity, doubts, for example. I had a few job interviews where I was really honest and said that the position would be a chance for me to ‘explore’ XYZ profession when I should’ve lied and said there was nothing more in the world that I wanted than to have that job and do that work. In other words be enthusiastic and act committed — good luck!
I saw Eileen a while back and realised… lesbian media is so back. While Netflix will stop at no length to cancel every WLW tv show to ever exist, Eileen is such a quintessential wholistic unhinged 50s lesbian film. Key points: lucky strike cigarettes blonde hairspray martinis without olives homoerotic tension and shoving snow down ur panties… plus Anne Hathaway.
especially if you don’t have a traditionally western name. there is beauty in your name coming up on the first google search page. except if you’re giving your name to starbucks. boycott starbucks.
not the ariana grande song. improv your way through life. i met so many wonderful people by saying Yes when appropriate. The ariana grande song is good though.
