I'm having the time of my life mending a dress a friend gave me that has a bunch of holes all over it. I have Covid so I can't leave the house, and I love having something to do with my hands while I listen to podcasts alone in my apartment.
I’ve been really into decorative mending this year and I’m trying to learn how to repair more of my clothes rather than buying replacements. My thusband got me a handheld darning loom. I’m going to get some thread and try patching up a shirt tomorrow.
I saw a girl make a beaded F1 shirt and just had to make it. so now im obssessed with beaded embroidery. its for the patient but i like how my hands move and i like creating with my hands. theres this book im reading about creativity and all that. the guy from the book has a desk with nothing digital, only paper pens scissors just things to create with. a craft table if you will.
