ella is a goddess and her dynamic with louis is so good, the levity and contrasting vocal tones are fantastic. can't forget oscar peterson absolutely cooking on the piano as well. top tier jazz ballads/duets.
Probably the single best trinket ever made. I have a hard time even defining what it is… A puzzle? An obstacle course? It’s sort of like a portable marble run set except instead of manipulating the marble you manipulate the structure around it. Incredible stuff. Extremely loud and obnoxious in a good way

this year is his last year teaching and because of his class jazz developed a really special spiritual meaning for me. Can’t imagine where i’d be without that training
