Sourdough is sooo much work. but making your own bread means you get to eat bread. try this recipe instead of making a sourdough started so you can eat bread faster: Ingredients: 3 cups of flour 2tsp dry active yeast 2tsp salt 1.5cups of warm water Baking: -put water and yeast in a bowl and let activate for 5 minutes -add flour and salt, and mix until you have a tacky ball of dough -cover and let rest for 2-3 hours, stretch & fold at half way mark if you wish -preheat oven to 450°f 10 minutes before your dough is ready -put dough on floured surface and stretch and fold mulitple times -after folding, tuck bread under itself to form a tight ball -put in lined dutch oven (or any heavy duty vessel that has a lid or just in the oven maybe I haven't tried it), and score dough -bake for 30 minutes or so with lid on -bake uncovered for 12 minutes -wait to cut it open until its cooled for 30 minutes -eat bread!
