Been listening to whole compositions lately. I used to listen to movements, here and there, but could never discern the differences (just blind listening), so now I want to understand the composers better, and their overall styles. Just for context, I'm not really an expert on this, and disco is definitely more my thing but I don't know hahaha this is where my brain is now!

I love Sufjan Stevens, Tori Amos, Mitski, the Carpenters, etc. a lot, but for about a week and a half a month, I’ll only listen to classical music. It’s like an acid peel for the soul, and I always feel refreshed afterwards. You have to be really making an effort to classicalmaxx as well & trade up your standard compilation choices for Lawes, Saariaho, Dutilleux, Lutyens, Gesualdo, etc.

Doing something new with your body but not towards a goal such as becoming a ballerina. Learning a rigorous craft in a bodily way. Generally cheaper than barre classes and the real thing!

I love seeing these extremely tired-looking fashion children on my walk to work with their gargantuan coffees, giant bags, enormous trousers and infinite scarves wrapped around their tiny heads. A rhapsody in enzyme-washed denim. Sometimes they clock my outfit so it's somewhat reciprocal
