Happy one year of quarantine. Shout out to my scented candles and diffuser oils for getting me this far, but I need something stronger. Growing up Bhuddist, incense were everywhere, and I hated them because they always irritated my eyes. I gave Nippon Kodo's Kayuragi incense a shot because they don't have a wooden core, so it's a much cleaner burn. Morning meditations has been extra lax. Shopping for incense has been fun, but you know what’s more fun? Shopping for incense holders. Whole different ball game for decor.

i light some wild berry incense at least 2-3 times a day some of my favorite scents are clarity, patchouli, china rain, frankincense, isis, & dragons blood. i love to light it when i come in from smoking, after cooking/cleaning, during a shower, before bed, or just for fun. it’s a sweet treat for my nose i love to buy them in 10 packs & pick out my favorite scents in the store. they’re rlly affordable and make every room smell so lovely they give me the urge to settle in for a nice tea as well

i rly like ds & durga esppp breakfast highlands, be still, and bergamot superior
i also visited this v lovely japanese homeware store in chicago called five elements home and they have these adorable cube candles that you can place on a dish or in a vessel of your choosing
also a ton of very beautiful incense if you’re into that! bc a nice incense holder provides sort of the same activation of space as a candle
