🥴my name is Lauren and growing up I liked having a name that didn’t end in A like so many other popular girls’ names at the time, but I also felt like it was dull lol
Nowadays sometimes I forget my name is Lauren bc I’m around my kids all the time who call me mama, and my husband rarely uses my name because I’m the only other adult in our house and it’s always abundantly clear when he’s talking to me (so he doesn’t need to use my name to get my attention). Whenever a friend uses it on a phonecall or something I sometimes get butterflies because I just never hear it lmao 😅
(sometimes on forums i go by Elle or Ellie tho)

👍which was embarrassing + frustrating as a child. As an adult I figured out a joke to teach people to say my name correctly and now I really love having an un-nicknamable name + also basically a mononym cos U have probably never met another one of me in Ur life !!
