when i was going through the worst period of my life this album was basically the only thing i could listen to and it DID make things worse but it ALSO made me feel like a beautiful and doomed manhattan heiress in a glittering 80s crime drama and now when i relisten to it iโ€™m like damn glad thatโ€™s over but also when will i have such cinematic problems again

for fans of dream pop โ€“ this album is so beautiful but so depressing so I canโ€™t listen to it often ๐Ÿ˜… it reminds me a lot of a time when I felt super lonely and isolated but I think it makes me reflect on how much has changed for the better too. but anyway I just think the songs are good :)
