I'm not American and even though I have pretty decent English I recently discovered I've been pronouncing 'cucumber' wrong my whole life. koo-kuh-mber insted of q-cumber. isn't that more fun tho??? after much reflection I've decided I will keep saying it the wrong way bc it makes me feel like a Brazilian Sofia Vergara or something. fucc the rules. embrace your wrong pronunciation of cucumber

Makes me think of in college, people called the College of Fine Art “C-A-S” but every first-week freshman pronounced it “kass” because duh. Im feeling that way rn calling a bar called Clematis Social just ”Clematis” even thought Clematis Street is a biiiig street in West Palm Beach w tons of businesses. Just feeling veryyy novice wanting to be a pro. Fun phase in getting used to stuff
