The MF-ing Video Store

In 2024 I'm cancelling as many streaming services as I can and turning to the video store instead. I'm a member at Videotheque and Vidiots in LA. 1. I find my watching to be way more intentional renting a DVD or Blu-Ray. I have to return it so I have to watch it and this is what I picked. 2. The browsing is much more pleasurable in person than the dang scroll! You can pick up a bunch of stuff and put it back when you figure out what you want. 3. If I pay late fees I feel like I am making a charitable donation. 4. Video store clerks are so cool!

cinema clubs

went to a cinema club - this is what it's all about. community is real! even in the city! it's not all over. i watched natural enemies and boxing helena with my friend and ally charlie. the first was awesome, the second was less so - but arguably more fun. sherilyn fenn is not a star, she is something else entirely.

The second trimester of pregnancy

Can’t really recommend the first one but by three months in I just started being ecstatically happy. I had the thought today that I’m going to miss being pregnant and having a little buddy with me at all times
