so many good options but off the top of my head is an indie film from mexico- this super interesting film that’s clearly inspired by the french new wave. in my opinion it’s brilliant and also there are some really inspired choices in this film - love it and recommend it heavy
the formally independent (recently acquired by studio movie grill LOL) River Oaks Theatre was a place where i saw so many beautiful movies and seeing this one rlly sutck with me! twas a feast for the eyes
im really into thinking about diasporic cinema, as in this new wave of cinema by recent immigrants / first gen americans, about this sort of “third way/third wave” culture. i wrote this piece about latin american cinema and how US-Latin cinema could take inspiration from it. any thoughts are welcomed and appreciated -SF

it's my birthday tomorrow and i dont know how to explain it, but this track/album has really resonated with me as i reflect on what a birthday means to me and how i want to spend my time here (earth, not the app). i find myself being very reflective, and grateful to have found this song. it feels like one of those moments thats just the right thing at the right time. also - i love the album cover, incredible. it gives off the same energy as a project ive been working on; glad i could find just a little bit more inspiration.
