mileage may vary drastically here. but i wear mostly the same thing most days. know your destination, know your wardrobe, and you can get a TON of mileage from just a carry on and personal item’s worth of space
I’ve had the same Rimowa carry-on suitcase for 12 years at least. I bought it in the old Berlin Tegel airport during a layover when my then-staple broke. Trust no airline with your essentials while traveling… especially these days… and with the right packing technique, you’d be amazed what you can fit in those overhead angels.
I take packing for a holiday so outrageously seriously. I'm a firm believer in packing cubes. The trick is to fold everything to the same size as the cube and you can fit SO much in. In the top one I have eight tops, 6 bottoms and two dresses!!! You can 100% fit everything you need for up to a ten day trip in a carry on bag if you are efficient enough and that is a hill I am willing to die on
I travel a lot and as a chronic ADHD overpacker whose instincts are to pack half my closet, I’ve made it a practice in the last year or so to not check a bag for trips shorter than a week. I think Tik Tok made me do it??? That said, the bag is essential, and *luxury* carry-on options are overrated and not practical. This weekender changed my life and has helped me to evolve into a meticulously organized packer. I leave the bottom empty if possible to pack anything I get while traveling; I put my toiletries, electronics, and purse inside the main pocket, and it balances perfectly on any roller. I think I get a week of my life back a year by not checking luggage and waiting for it.
leaves you susceptible to dating someone for too long because they play a role rather than it being about who they are. if you go in open to every situation, it will play out as its supposed to naturally (sometimes with a little nudge)
go drink some right now it’s good for your body and skin and has magical healing properties when consumed at the right times. currently it’s helping me beat a hangover
