fun fact: I used to be a vegan. Although one of my favorite restaurants— this sweet & veeeery delicious family-owned Vietnamese spot— definitely has meat on the menu, I still order the vegan bowl pretty much every time I go back. One, because it slaps even harder than the regular pork one, and two… girl, you already know I’m sentimental.

Some places charge extra by default for their plant-based meat alternative, but I still get a li’l entree and the extra toppings for a dollar or two anyway to make my meal extra delicious.

i stopped eating meat in 2020 just cause i didn't like it very much and now i'm scared my body won't know what to do if i eat meat again. and i'm currently sick. so i've been living off veggie pho takeaway in lieu of chicken soup and it is in fact that gas
