I haven't done this yet, but I'm about to and I'm sort of giddy about it! My high school? The Dairy Queen parking lot? The strip mall where I got stopped by a cop for 'not turning my headlights on fast enough?' The makeout point that abuts the grocery store? Good lord there's so much to see! Please understand these places made me who I am!! There's a whole part of me you haven't met yet!

Really helped me see my hometown through fresh new eyes, and appreciate things about it I took for granted!

as a teen i used to avoid hanging around town in case i bumped into someone i know and/or i went to school with. i hated it here and dreamt of one day leaving but of course that never happened, now not only do i love it but working at the local library means i'm actively participating in society. after only three shifts i've bumped into distant relatives, old classmates, my former male best friend and the only boy i've ever had a crush on. it was so crazy. but seeing them after ten years or even more.... was actually nice. i can't believe i'm saying this. i already know my life is gonna be so different after this one year experience

People you haven’t seen in years, wounds healed by time, affordable food and drink, family, watching TV.
If you’re as lucky as me there‘ll be seaside and countryside too. Maybe it wasn’t about the destination, but the friends we made along the way?

Isn't it exciting?? I feel like I'm constantly being humbled by new information. And there are more ways than ever to learn new things! More platforms, more people to know, more places to see. As someone who enjoys being right (yikes), I'm working on leaning into the intrigue of being wrong, or in the dark.
I worked out today and actually drank water... which is probably why I feel this way. Take it with a grain of salt and check back in tomorrow!
