If you're unemployed or work from home, the timing's ideal to avoid taking turns at the equipment and also feel less self conscious. You can't wonder if people are staring at you if no one's there to do it in the first place.

Be it a fun chill day or a work day, don’t shy away from a 3pm start. 4 hours of being tuned-in is better than 0. A non-negotiable for the self-employed. Sometimes when I exercise in the morning it unexpectedly goes south and takes me out…for a while .. LOL embarrassing. what can ya do but get back on the horse 😤🫡

This rec is highly specific to my work situation. I rarely take my lunch hour, opting to eat whatever I meal preped at my desk to save money. But I realized I could use my lunch hour to walk to the gym two minutes away and exercise. This breaks up the workday in a pleasant way, surprisingly boosts my productivity, and reclaims time in the evening I'd rather use on creative projects. If your situation allows for it, I recommend it.

If you work a 9-5 and don't have a big deadline coming down on you, don't start something after 4pm, its not worth it. 3PM is alright, maybe you can crank something out, but 4pm is for finishing things up and wistfully looking out the window until you can not work anymore.
