spending approximately 2-3 hours on your phone vaping before you do anything in the day has proven very unhelpful in my life and work ethic development however it does help with just chilling the fuck out when you wake up anxious but maybe i wake up more anxious because i’m getting less done.

tbh I been struggling to have a proper morning routine bc I’m not a morning person. But I must convert…. My brain hurts from immediately frying it with my “routine” iPhone doomscroll the moment I awaken. what I’ve been doing to change this up and not feel absolutely fried is : First, of all waking up. Make my bed as well as I can. Immediately washing my face & brushing my teeth. Throughout all of this, I’m also avoiding turning on any fluorescent lights and just using the peeking morning light as my guide. Then I make my breakfast in the peace n quiet :3!! I try to not use my phone until 30-45 min after I wake up, and if I can go longer I will. It’s hard when everything regarding school / work & friends are on this little device :(. This “routine” may sound so normal to someone…. but keeping this habit with a no phone routine is so helpful for me. It’s so important to get my “mundane” but necessary tasks to jump start my day without any unnecessary stress to distract me from them. Cause especially during those days where the first thing I do is grab my phone, I’m completely thrown out of whack and living off of stress. I do things like get distracted, by an unexpected assignment or shift change, and forget to wash my face or drink water in the morning… Then I feel out of whack. So ya, what do you guys do to make your morning routine the way it is to set up your day?

recently, when I wake up in the morning and have time to kill, I've been spending a bit of time reading before or after I get myself ready to go about the day instead of sitting on my phone when I first wake up. I feel like it helps clear my mind for the day and it feels nice to not immediately scroll when I wake up like I used to
just started a new routine where i have to go make myself a tea/coffee before i'm allowed on my phone in the morning. it really makes sure i'm awake and will hopefully help me spend less time doomscrolling, cuz the morning is always the worst time of day for me

this has been a fav of mine for years. when you notice someone unfollows you but they didn’t remove you as a follower (they think you’re a fan), simply go to their page, like their most recent post, and then unfollow them. lets them know “hey. i see you.”

i literally cant stop eating fried rice and it’s so easy to make and it saves well and it makes me enjoy cooking so much more!!!! finding recipes u know u like and can incorporate into your weekly rotation makes buying groceries so much easier
