works really well for me as somebody with executive dysfunction who often acts before she thinks because even though i'm doing something stupid i still sound clever
anytime i say something a bit stupid and someone goes "what was that eilidh, come again?" and i don't want to repeat it because i have now heard it out loud and don't care for the sentence, i simply say "sorry that was an inside thought that managed to escape don't you worry"

Try to remind yourself of the absurd amazing ness of a bunch of humans gathering to hear your sounds and everyone just being part of this strange thing and just exist in that moment. and also all the other responses are spot on
