always have concert tickets for some show so you have something to look forward to. go to bands in town and buy random tickets to bands youve heard of but aren’t a fan of yet.
even though the show is in a city you do not live in and you can’t realistically afford an airbnb or hotel for the night 💋
bc who knows when the next tour will be, or if they blow up and then you never get the small venue experience again.

thinking about that tweet that said something like “find hobbies outside media consumption” and i disagree!! whenever i watch a movie or read a book it feels like a productive way to expand my mind! even if i watch something shitty i can have fun and critique it at the same time. seeing art (good and bad) as merely “content” is a mindless consumer take.
