weirdly, my stepmom is the master of this. she owns a clock with babydoll arms and head attached. she has a Rockwell-esque painting of two boys but their faces are rendered so poorly that they look like old men, medieval style. it was exactly where you said, behind the bathroom door, until for my most recent visit she moved it to the guest room π
I found vintage clown dolls and they sit all over my bathroom + a little Pierrot mirror. No one ever expects it, so fun!
