of pictures that you donโt exactly know what to do with :) iโve been taking so many pictures of plants on my walks and i made this tree collage with them. i read braiding sweetgrass for a class and wanted to make something to remember my transformative experience by. gives me hope that if i can try to build a reciprocal relationship with the earth in my daily life, mother nature will know my heart and forgive me for the destruction by mankind. ๐ฌ๏ธ๐ธ๐๐ผ๐ข๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ชบ๐ชป๐ชจ๐ฉถ
Every time I enter into some kind of emotional spiral (good or bad, lol!) I make one of these. Or when I want to organize my thoughts around a creative project, or just for ~funsies~ (๐คฎ) I love collaging but I donโt always have the resources or energy to make a physical one and once you get the hang of it, this is a super easy way to do it!!
made a couple collages in 2024 and had a lotta fun. something about searching thru magazines for the right picture or word feels like a game, and then u get to create something out of it!! i got the urge to make one for the new year and vision board!! been awhile since iโve had inspo for physical art, didnt realize collaging would be for me lol
