Let’s say you have ADHD or similar and it’s helpful for you to time things but also put your phone away, this little guy is cute and portable and easy to use as a clock, timer, alarm clock, and inexplicably thermometer. I use it every day so much, my pomodoros are on fire.

been trying to use pomodoro timers more for work and my phone timer just didn't cut it but there's something WAY more satisfying about using this that my lizard brain enjoys

i hate the feeling you get when wearing a wrist watch, but i need an omnipresent reminder of time to keep my adhd-induced zoning out in check 🥴 enter the ring watch - it’s small, water resistant, and hugs my sausage finger at just the right amount of pressure !

So I yeeted my clock from the bathroom about two years ago, and I can state with certainty that it is mentally helpful. It's a litle mini-Vegas in there, where the only time cue is if there is sun or not in the frosted pane window. It's the one location in my home where I don't think about time. Try it.

Microbes make the world go round and make your food taste good! Made some butternut squash and cabbage kraut last weekend, used that to make vegan fava bean cheese this weekend, and it was so fun and delicious, bye!

If you have a job with paid vacation days, or the means to take a random day off, I really recommend taking a random Wednesday from time to time to just clear the decks and do your art thing all day (or sports thing or whatever you care about more than your job!) I used to hoard my vacation days and only take a full week at a time, but I find a Big Wednesday can do a lot for me, especially in the winter. Sure, a Friday or Monday are also great, but for me I love knowing I only have two days of slog on either side of that golden Wed!
