I like to entertain myself and one thing that has made me laugh is saying things like “sorry i am so effing late, I couldn’t find where the eff my keys were.” The nostalgia factor is so special and it just sounds a little silly. For extra laughs sometimes, I like to precede or follow with the disclaimer that “I am trying to curse less” because "curse" is a funny word too and the statement is blatently not true.
When someone asks you something you think you should know the answer to/feel ashamed that you don’t know, say “hmm I don’t know!” And then you learn something new! No shame needed, only learning and vibes. it’s embarrassing for them if they think you should be embarrassed!
there you are, feeling bad for cancelling, about to send the text. Then all of a sudden the heavens part and YOU get cancelled on. you live another day as the hero and get to sleep in.
