I always want to read on the Subway, but most book have chapters that are too long. With poetry books I can read one poem at a time and check what station Iβm on without ruining the flow. Also poetry is just great.
I donβt usually finish them, but I keep one beside my bed so I can read a random poem first thing each morning. I like to get the words in my brain before anything else.
Experimental (translated) Italian novel about feeding and queer love and desire. No punctuation but tons of mouthwatering descriptions of food. https://www.andotherstories.org/the-hunger-of-women/
