"Remember, time is luck." "Yeah. Luck ran out." I would die for Michael Mann; it's his slick and quick pacing, his ability to build these characters yearning for romance underneath a steel professionalism, it's the digital shot, the neon violence, the line readings, what should be tacky becomes exceptional and transcendent. You can't go wrong with this movie. I saw it at Metrograph on the big screen and it is easily the best first watch of the year for me.
the dude is so fucking cool. Ferrari unfortunately looks mid AF, but Collateral, Miami Vice, Heat... i mean come on!!!! cruise is soooo hot in collateral too.
