Even just learning basic hemming and how to repair stuff is infinitely useful. Mending your clothes is good for the environment and for your connection to ur stuff.
I recently got this wooden handle looking thing to mend clothes and it works so well. I love using sparkly thread for all my mending. Adds a little pizazz.
She has some great resources on darning and she also hosts regular zoom workshops which are ideal.

i made strawberry shortcakes and three kinds of iced teas (ginger peach green tea, lemon black tea, and ginger hibiscus rooibos), and my roommate made bruschetta! then we played Rummy and 9-card Golf for like four hours. i’m so sleepy and content :)
