hummus by the spoonful

i start off with idk a cucumber as a vessel for the hummus, but i don't stop there once the veg is gone. i need a little extra on its own (okay maybe a little extra salt pep olive oil and paprika but its 10/10 either way). i'm done with dip culture and dancing around what i *really* want.. which is to DIG RIGHT IN.

i put that shit on everything. there are very few things with which i would not eat hummus BUT i must admit that i only eat the same 4 foods on rotation. if my lineup was a bit more diverse, this would likely be a different situation, but my routine as of now infrequently misses the opportunity to integrate hummus in some way/shape/form.

I used to think I was lonely but then I accepted that it was actually me who didn't want to connect with people

You can find connection with anyone on the street, but the people I actually want to connect with are exceedingly rare. I think it's better to just accept it if you are someone with very specific needs and tastes rather than torturing yourself over the fact that you feel alienated and alone. It also makes it more special when there's someone I truly connect with.
