Superior to shower crying by a million. Way more vulnerable and really emphasizes the pitiful and tragic aspect of it. Also, there’s literally toilet paper right there for your snot and tears!!! Not to mention the dimensions of it like you can get out some powerful sobs sitting with a hunched back…. think about it.
There’s something so raw and real about crying in public. The sadness and pain or whatever other complex emotion you’re feeling is so powerful that it breaks through all social norms. something so true and human about it. I’m a public crying enthusiast #chill
Sometimes I feel like life is passing by too quickly and I get so anxious I want to throw up. This is a little daily reminder I have to appreciate the present and helps feed into my inner control freak. Also, it’s extremely satisfying to swipe through all the pictures and track the seasons changing through the sunrise.
Walking home from work in winter fog??? And seeing the tops of bare trees almost get lost in it??? Looking up to see someone’s apartment window open in January??? Smelling a passerby‘s cigarette smoke mixed with cold humid air??? The world felt closer and why did I almost tear up.
