Maybe the floor maybe the side chair as opposed to the couch maybe on the armrest of the sofa best is a vantage point where you can watch the people watching the film as well as the film
i can kick my feet up on the chairs in front of me, switch seats at my own whim + laugh & cry as loud as i want with the luxury of the large silver screen all to myself
the group mind that forms within dark theaters is ideal for the consumption of moving images. perhaps even better is watching them with a group of friends. i recently saw Little Shop of Horrors for the first time with a gaggle of about eight, and it was an incredible time. a joy shared is a joy doubled. and don't watch movies on your small devices for GOD'S SAKE.
If I wanted to do this more regularly I’d need some better shoes but recommend at least across one neighborhood or two and have some stuff/gossip ready to talk about or don’t and let the boredom and street observation run it’s creative course
