The world can be such a quiet place sometimes (with the exception of ambient noises and stuff). Stop the music, put your headphones away, quiet the internal monologue, and pay attention. It’s so quiet out there. Let the world be silent. <3
it’s nice to just let the long hard day roll over you like a wave. sometimes you just have to let the emotions hit you and think about the things you’ve experienced even though a lot of times it’s hard to because we’re so used to emotionally disconnecting and reaching for a screen to fill the silence. But there’s beauty in silence; in quiet. Take some deep breaths and just be for a second
Gazpacho only in the late summer, persimmons only in the winter, etc. just because we can import anything from anywhere anytime doesn’t mean we should. Nothing is special if you can have it whenever you want it.
