went from getting fairly cheap haircuts every couple of weeks to getting a more expensive one every month or two the right hairdresser can make your hair last in between appointments
For some reason growing up, I used to think having a haircut should be every once month only, but I realizes having a haircut every two weeks is totally FINE and cool ~ to maintain your look!! ππ
find a stylist that WILL WORK WITH your energy levels and not give u some shit that only looks good with 1+hr daily maintenance. it's been life affirming to have a stylist look at my hair texture and help me figure out minimal effort hair. may be expensive and energy-spending to get this haircut, but it WILL pay off.
One more to round out the trifecta of haircut-related recs. I live in New York, but donβt have a hair stylist there (mostly because $ but also I like to build up a relationship with someone). I do, however, regularly see hair stylists when Iβm in Cambridge, Oakland, and London (places Iβve formerly lived or spent a lot of time in). Less expensive, more to chit chat about and makes travel all the more transformative to have it to be the only mode where your appearance gets altered.
