i have so much crap on my work table (not even my desk, just where I’m currently working) and I kinda like, organize it super grid like laying things out in organized piles. This normally happens after it’s been a big mess everywhere. But anyways, it’s fun to make the piles to some music and look through and organize all the things you’ve amassed on the table. It’s creative work ⭐️

spent all day tidying up my room and going through my closet and craft cart. filled up several bags of stuff i’m not using to sell/donate/post on Buy Nothing. i also reorganized my desk drawer to make it more conducive to letter writing instead of being glorified cable storage. i love figuring out the best layout to reduce annoyance and put the stuff i (want to) use most at my fingertips. now i can see my floor again and i’m filled with peaceful anticipation of all the little crafts i hope to putter around with this year. next task: decluttering my computer desktop 🥴

i used to hate cleaning or tidying up, but now i realize that’s it’s totally meditative and it tends to make me feel better about how i’m doing.

a really good age. Knowing yourself. Might not be exactly where you want & need but you do know the path, it’s right there in front of you, and you've been walking on it but you’re ready to jog now. You don’t need to run….. life is long, but it’s important to get there

You might think I’m crazy to be saying this in the winter, but yo. heating is so suffocating and dry and if you don’t have a humidifier because you’re a peasant like me clearly, crack that winter window and enjoy that cool breeze….. helps you sleep, makes you able to breathe…. Humans were not meant to stay cooped up in these brick and insulated houses. We are able to survive the coldest of colds. We’re hot blooded creatures and we need air.
