cosiest movie with the loveliest actors (juliet stevenson & alan rickman) .. so heartwarming, i love juliet's proper snotty crying and how all of the characters love her so dearly ... it just screams authenticity to me, the longing for someone who has gone but how holding onto him ultimately holds her back.. i also love their bad singing, the terrible haircuts and the miserable london weather which is always a must with british comfort movies
Generally really like romcoms but this is just so fun and human and lovely! Barely saw it for the first time this easter but had to get my 4k criterion copy to rewatch asap (thank you bi-annual sale!) Anyway, tap in!
