Maybe this is a me problem, but don’t buy a piece of clothing that you really like and just mostly leave it in your closet bc you think it is too nice for everyday events. Bonus: A lot of the times the item starts to look better with more wear.

the event is you! you deserve to wear these nice clothes and they wanna get worn too! they want to stand in the line at the post office or shop for groceries, they wanna be seen and admired

Wearing the same outfits

I love being an outfit repeater. I love when my clothes start to feel roomy & slouchy. I love when I notice the fabric color fading. I love when my jeans fray & the denim starts to break open on the knees. I love it when my clothes show that i’ve lived.
