Unironically, college prepared me for an excellent paying job after I graduated. I went to art school with a very entertaining and sometimes embarrassing student population, despite this, the community there welcomed me with open arms and made some life-long connections. I think itβs important to get out of your own personal bubble and experience worlds/communities very alien to your own and experience them as best as you can; see things that challenge/inform your worldviews and personal opinions. Glad there was no pickleball there during my time. 7/10
The most fun Iβve ever had is getting to intellectualize and argue about books, movies, and paintings with the children of wealthy manhattanites as if it was a matter of life and death
an old man with missing teeth may come up to you telling you stories of his earlier years as a stuntman and how he can get into any movie he wants. ( you dont believe him). and then he'll proceed to tell you about the young woman that has fallen in love with him and how he cant morally be with her as he is about 80 years and she is in her 20s. when you say goodbye you put up your fist for a bump and he will grab your fist as if it were a hand shake.
