Comedy is the highest art. Despite holding that belief, I’m compulsive with puns and dad jokes. I must get it from my mom… also, side note, the best meme account nobody knows about is @the_imperial_palace
my dad usually embarrasses me by trying to tell the waitress jokes and he’ll spend the entire time complaining about the food. (“this coffee tastes like ass” or “what are these? pigeon eggs??”) BUT it‘ll make him happy and my dad often has very good gossip. Overall it’s a formative experience.
My best friend and I started calling each other ‘dad’ as a joke, but over time it ended up being immensely healing to associate the word "dad' with someone you can actually trust and rely on.
Healing childhood emotional bonds and rebuilding neural pathways.
Creating positive dad associations has proven to be deeply therapeutic.
Saturday is the overall best day of the week because it’s the day I get to enjoy whatever I want without any thought of returning to work. Thursday is the best day of the “work week” Because the weekend is within sight but with a buffer day that kills the impatience from the anticipation of the day ending that happens on a Friday.
