30s are 20s with more money and less fucks given

I turned 30 during Melbourne’s marathon pandemic lockdowns so it was a bit of a non-event which just made me realise it’s pretty chill. Your Saturn Return can be pretty bumpy but once you’re on the other side, things feel like they’re within reach and the world seems brighter and lighter. I enjoy my own company more, want to explore the world and feel more equipped to tackle whatever the universe throws at me. It may be cringe but I am cringe and I am free!!!

I currently feel like I’m tripping out on life w the amount of change happening and I’m trying to remember it’s painful but necessary and I am growing into a older and wiser version of myself if I can only remember to embrace it and not be afraid

fish tank • i've recced this before, raw, social realism, about a strong stubborn teenage girl, coming of age, cannot watch this often, but when i do it always makes me feel alive! ponyo • my favorite ghibli, cute song, target audience is younger than some other ghiblis, ancient fishes!!! awe-some mothers! comfort film the taste of tea • i've also recced separately on here before, slice of life, funnyyyy, cute, beautiful, watched this a lot over the years somewhere • i have this on blu ray... watched it many times, of all coppola films this one feels closest to me
