started book 2 and it is still slapping

fuck the haters; if it’s popular it’s probably because it’s entertaining and fun! i will never let a condescending man tell me to read some boring melancholy self-important white man instead! read the faerie smut! read the sexy dragon rider book! do not apologize for it! side note on this is that i devoured fourth wing, the sequel, and ACOTAR in like a week. even when they are annoying, they’re way more fun than when i was trying to read fuckin Camus or DFW
got home, hung out at my parents’ house; dad read to me, i smoked outside with my brother’s friends. such odd feelings. warmth but with a sense of finality.
