Every Saturday morning I take Wil to the Waffle House down the street. He now knows everyone's name and they know him and start his order when we're walking in. Yesterday they made him official by giving him his own name tag.

I grew up in the South and so it’s no real shocker that I have a soft spot for Waffle House. As soon as my husband and I land in Atlanta, the aux plays Bankroll Fresh and our first stop is Waffle House. Jack Irv (my husband) and his boys, especially Tommy Malekoff, love Waffle House, so much so that at our wedding this past November we had Waffle House cater for the late night food.

In college I went to the same Mexican place every day for a burrito, got the same coffee at the same Dunkin’ Donuts every morning
Years later im in a new area following the same philosophy, I eat a chicken bruschetta wrap at the same place every time I go out for lunch and still get the same coffee at the same local Dunkin’ Donuts every morning.
I frequent the same full service gas station, go to the same mechanic, Kevin, buy groceries from the same local mart, get my hair cut by the same barber, buy any and all hardware misc from the same little hardware store, Jeds.
When your order gets prepared the second you walk in, and you have a relationship with your daily’s, your life is in a better place.

don’t know how this happened but i’ve developed a habit of going out with people who work at places i’m a regular at. they recognize me, we compliment each other, they give me extra fries, i take that as an invitation to ask them out. i’ve found success at waffle house and del taco, currently trying to get with the girl from five guys. although be careful because i can’t step foot in that waffle house anymore after it didnt go well with the server. maybe just stay away from waho those bitches are crazy
