really gorgeous archive of early rave culture. if u dig deep enough u will find entire email chain conversations, flyers, photos, and more. i have no idea how i first came across this site but it is really dear to me ♡ it is so sentimental and rare
I’ve been wanting to make my website more reminiscent of late 90’s web pages so I came on here for design inspo. I ended up getting totally consumed by all of the personal homepages. There used to be so much creativity, personality, and intention involved in creating an online presence. I could (and did) scroll through here all day!
its so cool to still stumble across sites like this. i was trying to find where to watch a pretty underground movie and someone on reddit pointed me in this direction and now i come here first when trying to find a niche film im trying to watch. it has so much more than just movies though. so cool to see history documented in real time like this.
used to spend hours digging for set rips, fan theories, and remakes. met some URL friends that later became IRL friends, got signed to a record label made up of other fans where i released some god awful dubstep, still keep up with some folks on socials that i met on there. ended up shutting down like 8 or so years ago and everyone just went to r/Skrillex on reddit which is how i got on reddit. very influential place for my online experience and this site def brings me back to the energy that site had, just a bunch of nerds with niche interests who just wanna talk about it with other nerds EDIT: looks like they got a bunch of captures of it on wayback machine, big nostalgia trip looking at these
i have my dream job, live in my dream city, love my friends, love my wardrobe, love my apartment... sometimes the bliss hits me all at once. i have so much to be grateful for!! :'3
i am so obsessed with the prehistoric world and the art made during that time! so deeply moving and inspiring to me, i feel the magnitude of these works with my whole heart
