It just feels uncool and antithetical to what made this space feel different before. “maybe your profile can be featured right there next to Olivia Rodigro” bro I don’t give a flying fuck.

the idea that 'Nothing has changed since 1999'

I'm fascinated with the idea that culture has come to a grinding halt in the past couple decades. It partly feels true, but it could be that the media we consume and platforms we use are self-aware echo chambers that aren't conducive to original ideas. I'm curious on y'all's thoughts.

photography style you loved amidst 2020 pandemic, allowing for heaven by marc jacobs and other pinterest board esc creators to take over social media. it’s always been low hanging fruit yet now collectively it’s easy to hate because we’ve moved on. yep. ironic 2013 tumblr aesthetics bloghouse and helvetica are the next big thing! it’s not the same.. right?
