This brand is super dope, in a nutshell, they de-construct old GORE-TEX pieces from Arcteryx, North Face, etc. and upcycle them back into super dope gear. Arcteryx usually has these really interesting and bright shell colors, and I love that Greater Goods takes all these different colors and frankenstein them together to produce these really nice patchwork jackets. I think my favorite piece from them is when they turned these old shells into a kimono, and it’s a really interesting look. Since their brand revolves around reusability, they use leftover pieces from the jackets to make side-bags and water-bottle bags.

recently stumbled across this lil shop run by a couple with a bajillion leather belts of all types. you can custom and have a lovely conversation as opposed to shop for same products in big, souless corporations like zara or urban outfitters. these type of shops exist for pretty much everything, just look for it. It makes the act of purchasing so much more interesting as there's a story attached to the person who sold it to you. I've also found it to be cheaper/ same price but the quality obviously better. Woman owned leather shop out of Atlanta, GA! Handmade, quality, reasonably priced. They have tons of colors and styles at a price point where you don’t feel like you have to get the responsible (read: neutral) option. I went from being someone who juggled cards and cash at the bottom of a tote to an adult with one of their wallets a few months ago and love it. They have a web store and ship but if you’re ever in the area they have a beautiful flagship store in Ponce City Market where they have lots of customizable products.
